Teams that trusted us

  • Northwind
  • Kestrel
  • Meridian
  • Alto Labs
  • Cardinal
  • Vela

Three things you won't find at a software factory.

01

Seniors only

Nobody learns on your budget. Everyone who touches your project has spent over ten years building production systems, and owns what they write.

02

Architecture before code

The expensive decisions come first: data model, service boundaries, deployment strategy. Writing code is the easy part; choosing what to write is the work.

03

Measurable speed

We don't promise speed, we schedule it. Diagnosis in one week, a closed plan in two, first production deploy by week three. With dates, not adjectives.

We step in where it hurts, in whatever shape you need.

Architecture consulting

We design the system before it gets expensive to change: domain model, service boundaries, data, scalability and infrastructure cost.

  • System design and data modeling
  • Cloud strategy and cost
  • Staged migration plan

Technical audit and diagnosis

A deep review of an existing system. We tell you what's fine, what's about to break, and the order in which to fix it.

  • Code and architecture review
  • Security and performance risks
  • Prioritized report with effort estimates

End-to-end custom development

From brief to working product. We own the technical design, the build, the deployment and a documented handover.

  • A full product, not prototypes
  • Demoable delivery every two weeks
  • Code and documentation are yours

Embedded senior team / fractional CTO

We join your team for a bounded period: to accelerate a delivery, to put the engineering org in order, or to cover the CTO role while you hire.

  • Integration with your current team
  • Mentoring and engineering standards
  • Clean exit and full handover

Record time isn't a promise. It's a calendar.

Here's what a project looks like from the first call to code running in production.

  1. Day 0

    A 30-minute call

We get the problem, the context and the urgency. If we're not the best option for you, we'll say so on that same call.

  2. Week 1

    Diagnosis

We review system, code, data and team. You walk away with a clear map of where you stand and what the real risks are.

  3. Week 2

    Blueprint and closed plan

Proposed architecture, scope, milestones and price. No fine print: you know what ships, when, and what it costs before we start.

  4. Week 3+

    Build in sprints

Construction with a demo every two weeks and code in your repository from day one. You see progress, not a progress report.

Sample data

Results, not stories.

Fintech

0 outages in 9 months

  • Payment processing that collapsed on every end-of-month peak.
  • Redesign into an event-driven architecture with a retry queue and end-to-end idempotency.
  • 99.98% availability and 40% lower infrastructure cost.

Logistics

11 weeks to deploy

  • An entire operation running on spreadsheets, with no traceability or stock control.
  • Custom fleet and warehouse management platform, built and rolled out in eleven weeks.
  • Six hours a day of manual data entry eliminated.

B2B SaaS

8× faster

  • A seven-year-old monolith that blocked every new feature.
  • Audit, staged decomposition plan and extraction of the three most critical modules.
  • Delivery time for new features went from six weeks to five days.
Sample profiles

Small or large projects, always the same people.

There's no sales team and delivery team. Whoever sells to you is who builds it.

First Last

Software architect

14 years

Distributed systems and large-scale data platforms. Former tech lead on a regional product.

First Last

Platform engineer

12 years

Infrastructure, reliability and deployment automation in regulated environments.

First Last

Technical product lead

11 years

Discovery, scoping and delivery of custom products for enterprise clients.

What everyone asks before deciding.

How do you charge?

Per project with closed scope and price, or a monthly retainer when we embed with your team. Either way the number comes out of the week-2 blueprint, before you commit to anything.

Is there a minimum project size?

We take on diagnoses as short as one week. For custom development, the projects that work best start at eight weeks: below that, it rarely justifies the cost of a team learning your domain.

Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. We work in your repository, with your infrastructure accounts, and everything is documented so another team can continue without us.

Do you work remotely? In which time zone?

Yes, fully remote. We overlap at least four hours with your working day and join your team rituals if you have them.

What if I need to stop the project halfway?

Then it stops. Contracts break at milestones: you pay for what was delivered and take the code, the documentation and the handover. No cancellation penalties.

How do I know you're really senior?

On the first call you talk to whoever will build it, not to a salesperson. You can ask for previous work, direct references, and every technical question you want.

Tell us what you're building.

Half an hour, free and with no sales script. You leave with a concrete technical opinion on your problem, whether you hire us or not.
